snow fun

There was a huge storm as we arrived in New York.
This gave us great snow to play in. Grandpa Kimber
made a long sled run down their yard that ended near
the small creek that runs behind their house. The kids
had so much fun. Hayden still talks about it.

For Christmas in 2008 we went to New York to visit John's family. We all had a fabulous time and wish we could go again this year. Here a few of the highlights.

This sculpture was at the World Trade Center when it was hit.
It was moved and now an eternal flame glows to honor those that were lost.

Well, I had to change my blog over from one account to another...and couldn't remember the new username and password, so, I did not have access to my blog. I finally took the time to reset everything. We should be up and running now. I guess I don't have an excuse anymore for my blog being behind on what is happening in our lives. I will give a quick overview of the past year.
Hayden was 10 when this picture was taken.
He loves to play board games and use his imagination.
Hayden wants to always choose the right and helps
those around him do what's right. All his teachers have
said they wish they had a classroom full of Haydens.
We are grateful to have him in our family.
Tanner was 12 when this picture was taken. He is my go-getter.
He does well with whatever he does. He loves sports and is always
on the move. He is a great friend to others and loves to be involved.
